Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
I am currently a long term guest artist at Black Hearts Tattoo in Huntsville, Alabama.
What is the best way to schedule with you?
Right now, messages through Instagram @deathnoxtattoo is the best way to get in touch. I will have booking set up when I’m back in normal business hours.
How much is your hourly rate?
I charge $125 an hour. My minimum is $50. Larger pieces (4 hours or more) get a discounted rate of $100 an hour. Pricing depends on the size, placement, detail and style of your design. I can give you a price range based on these factors, and we can work on a design that fits your tattoo goals and meets your budget.
Do you require deposits for tattoos?
Yes…and no. Larger pieces do require deposits, but until I am back at normal working hours and can verify my schedule, message me about your ideas and we will take it from there. I travel to tattoo you, and I value my time. You may be refused future service and/or lose a deposit if you:
Decide you want to make radical changes after we have made a plan and I have executed your design (ie we agree on a floral design and you decide you want Celtic knot work instead)
If you are a NO CALL, NO SHOW, or CANCEL after the scheduled time of your appointment. I understand emergencies happen, and extenuating circumstances will be taken into consideration
If you reschedule more than two times, come to your appointment intoxicated, or come to your appointment sick
What kind of payment do you take?
I prefer cash so please plan ahead and come prepared.
When can I see the drawing for my tattoo?
Your drawing will be ready for you the day of your appointment. It’s so much easier to make changes in person versus using inanimate objects and flat screens to communicate. Expect a drawing on the day of your appointment, and if we need to make small adjustments, that can easily be done with you in shop. You will never get tattooed until you approve the design. I want my clients feeling comfortable and confident during our appointment time.
How can I prepare for my tattoo?
Eat, sleep, drink water. Make sure you aren’t fasting before your tattoo; eat something substantial an hour before your tattoo and bring snacks and drinks with you to your appointment. Make sure you get a good night’s sleep before hand, raging the night before a tattoo will leave you feeling awful and will make my job harder. Make sure you hydrate the day before and the day of your appointment.
